When I read this I thought, this would be so helpful to a lot of people as well as myself. Did you ever have a hard time explaining to a child (or even some adults) How a person can be in heaven and still be in a casket? This little poem is one of the best explainations I have ever heard; and so simple.
"Since our bodies weren't created
to just fly away through space,
He had to leave his body here,
to see God face to face.
The part of him that loved us,
will live on in memory.
He now no longer lives in pain
He's as happy as can be.
Please try to understand that
Almost from the time of his birth,
He loved others right up close,
and loved God from the earth
Now he loves God right up close
I think he's having fun
He's hanging around the Throne
just talking to the Son.
