God Gives To Us
Rom.8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (32) He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
As I read this scripture I began to think about the way that we look at God’s promises.
Sometimes we make them null (of no effect) by making our own excuses as to why it won’t happen for us; or as to what God really meant when He said it.
God has proved His intent by giving His own son. When we look at that “fact and truth” we cannot question God’s intent for us. We may question His ways to accomplish the promise but that’s only because we don’t know Him well enough to know that He intends to do us good.
Jer. 29:11, 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope
I was just mesmerized by the thought; God intends to fulfill every promise He has made, He has proved that by showing us just how far He will go when He gave us His son and had Him crucified (the cruelest death ever) for our benefit.
Look at Rom. 8:32 again, He who spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, He will also with Him (Jesus) also freely give us “all things” Hallelujah!!
Think about that He will give to us freely whatever we need, and best of all, He knows (without a doubt) what is best for us.
