Keep the Word
Romans 8:1 ( nkjv)
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,[a] who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.[Romans 8:1]
Romans 8:28,37-39
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Isn’t it wonderful to be reminded of these things? This is why it’s so important to get in the word everyday; to keep the promises of God before our eyes.
When we fail to look into the word it gives the devil an opportunity to put his stuff before us and that can be destructive to our walk with the Lord.
Proverbs 4:20-23 (New King James Version)
20 My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
