We are one
Romans 12:5 (New King James Version)
5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
Have you ever wondered why we feel touched with such deep compassion when we hear about a brother or sister who is going through a tough time, or facing a bad situation?
The Bible tells us that we are all one body;
When we stub our toe or break an arm what happens with the rest of the body? The whole body reacts and runs to give aid to the hurting part. This is why God likens us to a body.
We would not be acting normal if we didn’t rush to help a hurting member.
Also, we need to be more careful about our hurting someone with our tongue or actions.
Let’s all try to live in harmony with one another.
1 Peter 3:8
Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. (niv)
This is a new day God has given us to enjoy, let us rejoice and be glad in it.
God bless, Billie
