Passion needed

What would life be like without passion?

I once heard an old time saint tell a newly converted person who was all excited about getting saved; “After you have been saved for a while the excitement will wear off, and, before too long and you will be like the rest of us.” That was the worst thing they could have told a new Christian.

This is what you have to look forward to; a hum drum life??

I am here to tell you that, that is not how it has to be !! Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before. That’s how it can be; you are the one who makes that choice.

When you make it your aim to “Know” the Lord, every day will be the most exciting time of your life. God has something new for you every minute if you will keep your eyes open looking for it.

As a matter of fact if you will stay “In” Christ He will Keep your feet dancing even when you are older. Passion is what keeps us going with a singing heart. There is something new every day to shout about.

We can shout and praise even in the midst of trouble cause we know that He is bringing us through.

Passion is like a bon fire, if you don’t feed it it will go out; So feed yourself, your passion, the word of God; Feed yourself the promises of God. Look at the lives of the ones who live with a passion. Set your goal to be passionate, God is no respecter of person. He will see that you have the desires of your heart. Without Passion you will eventually be a dying ember, it’s all up to you.

Assuranc in God

Assurance in God

Do you ever feel like it’s just one thing after another till it seems you can’t go on?

When this happens God has a word for you.

David was a man who it seemed was constantly running for his life; yet God had promised him and anointed him to be King! What in the world was happening ?

Ps.73:26; tells us, David said, “My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

David submitted to God as the one in control of his life. ”Nothing can frustrate God’s loving intention for your life..except
 you not submitting.
Not even a sparrow falls to the ground without the Fathers knowing it. (Mt.10:29) “29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.”

How much more are you worth than a sparrow.

Our heavenly Father knows how to take care of His children and will only allow what He deems best. We can rest in His infinite wisdom and goodness. It’s only when we forget that He is with us and will never leave us that we get into trouble.

Dr. DeHaan wrote:

If you are helpless in life’s fray,

God’s mighty power will be your stay:

Your failing strength He can renew,

For He’s a God who cares for you.
